Avidemux, despite its enormous capabilities, has a very user-friendly and easy to use interface, which should not cause problems even for novice users.Avidemux is capable of non-linear video editing, applying visual effects (called "Filters" by Avidemux) to video, and transcoding video into various formats. Users who process large amounts of files will be pleased that Avidemux has a project mechanism and supports scripts that allow such a process to automate. One of the interesting options is the built-in calculator, thanks to which we can determine what parameters should be declared, so that the file after conversion fits into a CD, DVD, etc. Among the latter there are positions that allow you to trim the image, change its resolution, rotate by a given angle, overlay subtitles, sharpen the image and much, much more. With the help of Avidemux, apart from the conversion itself, we can also perform simple operations on frames (pasting, cutting, swapping) and apply filters to them. In addition, it offers a quite large number of functions and effects, which can be extended to include external components.
